Broken Social Scene are back.. and not with another one of those Broken Social Scene presents... knock-offs. The whole group is back including Stars' Amy Millan, Metric's Emily Haines and Leslie Feist who all made their names globally known after they helped create Broken Social Scene's incredible You Forgot It In People (2002).
The new album is called Forgiveness Rock Record, which will be released May 4th, and the band has released a track off the record called "World Sick" that has Kevin Drew taking on the lead vocals as per usual. The song has a great slow winding instrumentally layered background with just enough vocal 'umph' that builds up towards the booming chorus to get us prettty-pretty excited for the new release:
