Coachella Music and Arts Festival 2011

Coachella takes place in Indio, California and is globally recognized as one of the best festivals in the world. As with previous years, Coachella is the early bird of festivals occuring in mid-April, and the line-up has recently been announced forming another strong year of excellent musical acts:

Kanye West and Arcade Fire both have respectable places headlining the festival this year, and the addition of Kings of Leon specifically panders to the mass of casual music fans, but it is underwhelming for someone who has not bothered with the band since Aha Shake Heartbreak back in 2005 and for those who have previously seen Kanye and Arcade Fire. That being said, the Strokes literally make up for all of that.

Here are the rest of the bands who we would work our daily schedule around:

the Black Keys, Interpol, the Chemical Brothers, Robyn, Crystal Castles, Cee-Lo Green, Sleigh Bells, Nosaj Thing, Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, !!!, YACHT, Titus Andronicus, OFWGKTA, Mount Kimbie, Arcade Fire, Animal Collective, Broken Social Scene, Erykah Badu, the New Pornographers, Gogol Bordello, Shpongle, the Tallest Man On Earth, Wire, Kanye West, the Strokes, Death From Above 1979, the National, Nas & Damien Marley, Ratatat, Beardyman, SBTRKT, Joy Orbison, Kyle Hall, the Drums & Lightning Bolt.

Bold - Highly Anticipated.
Strike-through - Previously seen.

Although greenT is leaning towards an unseen festival/adventure/experience and we're hoping that Bonnaroo brings tha ruckus for their 10th Anniversary this year, our personal been-there-done-that perspective means nothing when this entertaining video should perfectly sway anyone's decision to visit one of the best festivals in the world:
