Inspecting Nature :: Wolf Spider

Take a look at this female wolf spider carrying her babies on her back to protect them from an enemy. If the mother feels threatened in any way she will put out a signal that tells the baby spiders to jump off and run away.
Wolf Spiders are entirely harmless and only grow between 0.04 to 1.18 inches in size and can be found pretty much everywhere in the world:
